Showers: Rabbits and Zebras Say Goodbye to Howrse.Recently Howrse implimented a new equestrian center item while replacing the "pets" that used to residein the stalls. Showers can either be purchased with a pass or with varying amounts of eqqus (the prices have sky rocketted since the release of the item earlier this month). The bonus recieved with this item is a 10% decrease in energy used in all the actions of the horse staying in the showered stall. This is a tremendous bonus for those looking to train their horse faster and have time to complete more tasks each day. Also, the lessons a horse participates has been changed to one a day, rather than two for skill level increases with a third for more money to be gained. This has led to an effective decrease in issues and is quicker for those dealing with multiple horses or timelines for breeding and training. For more information on these changes, as well as other, check out the howrse news page!

Medusa's Blood and Golden Apple Modifications
With the introduction of the Wandering horses came many changes, including the exchange of the shower for stall pets, new actions for your horses, and the change of age requirements for the Golden Apple and Medusa's Blood. The age for Medusa's blood has been reduced by one year, making it one year and six months old that the horse recieving the item must be. The golden apple has been even more reduced, also now at one year and six months rather than the previous age of three! This will help those entering their horses in competitions to get the bonuses that come along with the G.A. coats and M.B. wings.
The Big Surprise
As was promised howrse players recieved a "Big Surprsie"; howrse officially opened up its new international servers on January 11, 2011. With servers specific to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia howrse is hoping to make it easier with fewer players and versions specific to the players area. Board Games... Over doing it?
Howrse came out with the idea for board games some time ago, which honestly stumped me. I could not see how a boar game, based off the enternet version could spark much interest, but I suppose howrse has proved all disbelievers, like me, wrong. Recently they have beggun a massive campaign to push the sales of board games with "half off" or combinations with online prizes or incentives. The question is, are they pushing these gifts too hard? Many who own the game would say no, but those who lack either the want or cash to buy these games would beg to differ. Howrse already pushes pass sales way beyond the actual need, and these are not cheap for fake items, at all! So seeing howrse push another pricey item is hard for some people to sit by and watch. Poor parents of little howrsers are left with empty wallets as their children beg them for more passes and the new board game! Others say that the board game, like the previous trading cards offer players a tangible item, where as passes do nothing but float in cyberspace accounts. So it is up to you to decide: Howrse board games... have they gone too far to sell them, are they worth it?
Shutterfly's Splints Retired
Howrse has officially ended the special black market item, shutterfly's splint boots, sales. The splints offered a special coat, name marquis, and several bonuses for the price of 5 passes. With the retiring of the splints the horses with the item have increased in value and have joined the ranks of the rarer horses on the game.
